ISEE test are applicable to students from grades 5 to 11 and the scores are used as admission criteria for many private schools. The structure of an ISEE test can be broadly classified to five categories. These are Verbal reasoning, Quantitative reasoning, Mathematical achievement, Reading comprehension and Essay writing skills.
Verbal Reasoning: This category is designed to test the vocabulary of the students and is divided into two sections. One is the form of synonym questions and the other is in the form of sentence completion. The total questions are 40 in number and the time frame given for completion is 20 minutes.
